Where Do You Start?
Preparation for the Sacrament of Matrimony must start at least six months prior to the wedding date. To schedule a wedding on the calendar, the engaged couple must do the following:
Call the parish office at 936-587-4631; request to schedule a meeting with the parish priests to discuss your engagement and upcoming wedding.
After meeting with the parish priest, a mutual wedding date will be set based on the preferences of the couple, the availability of the priest, and the availability of the church.

The Mission of the Sponsor Couple Program
To help engaged couples fulfill the Catholic Church's pre-nuptial requirements.
To prepare engaged couples for the joys, challenges and commitment of Catholic marriage.
To offer support as couples prepare for marriage and as they begin their married life together.
We're doing the work of Christ as sponsor couples, by sharing our gift of love and marriage with others. As sponsor couples, we also celebrate our married love by reaching out to engaged couples through listening, sharing and being available.
